Is it the home, or the people at home, that make it a desireable place to be?

since I’ve had a great conversation.
you should meet my friend Armond. He’s from some country in Africa, and I come upon him every once in a while walking through campus. I helped him one day open his mailbox, and ever since then every time he sees me he refers to me as the mail box opener. He knows barely any English, but its fun talking to him. He’s i think 25, and very bright. I guess it’s not a great conversation. But an eye opener. It’s nice to talk to someone who doesnt know or think they know everything, but simply just wants to chat. He’s so interested, in everything because he doesnt know much. It’s also extremily interesting learning about things where he is from.
…I had a dream that I was in my jeep, top off, windows off, just the bare jeep. I was alone, with a nap sack on a stick type thing in my passenger seat. Sort of the type of thing from Huck Fin, when you were a kid. A legit stick, with a blanket full of little things such as Jelly, bread, fig newtons, or nutty bars(the things I’D carry in MY sack)…the blanket being tied on to the stick. Throughout my dream, i went to hundreds of different places, just driving. One second I was in Arizona, the other I was in New york, sometimes I was driving through mountains, and sometimes I was driving through little towns. Throughout the dream, i did nothing but talk to myself.
I was in a car, alone (with the exception of my nap sack of course), driving through beautiful places that stand out to me in reality. The creepy thing about the dream was that it was completely silent. You didn’t hear wind, or music, or sounds you would hear driving an open car down the road. All you heard was my voice, and what I was saying. I don’t remember anything I was saying, i just know all you heard was my voice. Mumbling, and rambling for an entire night, or 5 minutes, or maybe an hour or two. How long are dreams anyways? Do dreams keep up with time in reality? Or can you have 5 hours worth of time within 10 minutes of a dream??
Anyways…neat. but weird.
